Second sail of the summer with Captain John aboard his 22’ sailboat the Katherine Rose. Yesterday was a bit windier than Thursday, but no casualties or capsizings. I’m gradually getting the hang of this whole sailing thing. But I doubt we’ll ever go further than our own doorstep (metaphorically speaking). It’s just: out past the red buoy and back. And repeat.

But it’s a great excuse to have an afternoon drink, listen to some classic Pink Floyd, and get some sun.
